Willow Craft
On the 27th of June we were visted by Somerset Willow and learnt about how a willow basket is made. We looked at a range of photos that showed the story from when the willow is planted until it leaves the factory as an object that can be used at home.
The children asked some great questions and even had a chance to do some weaving. At the end we had a special willow bin that we had helped to create.
