Deputy Nursery Manager (permanent contract)

25.5 hours (3 days) per week – All year round

Salary: Grade 12 Point 19 (£15.4342 per hour)

Are you passionate about early childhood development and ready to take on a leadership role? Little Oaks Nursery is seeking a highly motivated Deputy Nursery Manager to join our dedicated team to contribute to the growth and success of our nurturing setting.

 

Job Summary:

As the Deputy Nursery Manager, you will work closely with the Nursery Manager to oversee the day-to-day activities and provide exemplary care to our children. Your responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring every individual child’s needs are met, including supporting parents with any SEND needs.

• Establishing strong relationships with parents and guardians, ensuring effective communication.

• Support, supervise and train nursery staff to ensure delivery of high-quality childcare practice and  develop open and positive working relationships with colleagues.

• Ensure we encourage and praise children’s development and achievements.

• Assisting in maintaining regulatory compliance and ensuring the highest standards of health and   safety

Little Oaks Nursery

Early Years Practitioner (permanent contract)

17 hours (2 days) per week – All year round

Salary: Grade 15 Point 4 (£11.9806 per hour)

We are looking to recruit an Early Years Practitioner, Level 3, for 2 days per week between the hours of 8:00am – 5:30pm.

 

Key skills and duties:

Most importantly, to have energy, enthusiasm, empathy, a sense of adventure and fun!

• Help with the planning and delivery of creative and fun opportunities according to children’s needs and interests to fulfil the requirements of the EYFS.

• Develop good strong relationships and communication with children parents/carers.

• Work creatively with children so they develop, learn and grow.

• Ensure all children have equal access to opportunities to learn and develop.

• Experience of working with children in an early learning environment

• Good communication skills

• Be a team player

The St Mary’s CEVC Primary School Governing Board are looking to appoint a clerk who is reliable, confident, good with people and with an interest in school governance. You will need skills in good administrative practice and experience of minute taking. You will also need to be confident in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and email, and have access to a computer and the internet.

Responsibilities will include working effectively with the Chair of Governors, Headteacher and other governors to secure the continuity of governing board business and to advise on procedural and legislative matters to ensure the governing board works to the legal framework. Confidentiality is also essential for this role.

Tasks include the preparation and circulation of papers, attendance at meetings and minute taking and maintaining a business calendar including policy reviews.
