Charities that we support
We support a number of charities in school
Sometimes we support charities as a whole school and sometimes children support charities on their own at home and then tell us about them. Below are some of the charitable causes that we have supported:
Macmillan Cancer Support
Every year we host a 'World's biggest coffee morning'. This year's coffee morning was held on Friday 24th September and as a school we raised £723.75 plus, another £500 in the form of a match finding donation with thanks to Mrs Ballantine and Lloyds Bank.
Little Princess Trust Hair Donation
The Little Princess Trust provides free real hair wigs to children and young people, up to 24 years, who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or other conditions. Some of our children have had their hair cut and donated it to this very worthy charity.
