Out of School Achievements
The children at St Mary's are busy both in and out of school. It is great to hear about and celebrate all the things that they get up to out of school.
Edward went to a Judo competition at the weekend and won Gold in his category. He explained how you win points in a judo competition to me brilliantly. Congratulations Edward.
Huge congratulations to Ethan who is now part of the Somerset swimming squad. He has won medals for all sorts of strokes and he has the fabulous Somerset Squad swimming cap. Great tuff Ethan!
Well done to Daisy and Alfie who took part in the St Margret's Hospice Colour Run at the weekend. Brilliant job, both of you, and it looks a lot of fun!
Congratulations to Jack who has been awarded both rugby and football medals this week. And he tells me that the cricket season has started now, so he’s going to be busy with that now! Well done Jack.

Megan, Flynn and Logan all did superbly at Bridgwater Swim Club’s recent event. A massive haul of medals between them and a cup for Megan. So much work goes into swim training, and these are very well deserved awards.
Izzy won silver at her recent trampolining competition. Great work Izzy and thank you for explaining your sport to us in Gold Awards.
Flynn competed at the County Swimming Championships and got a new Personal Best (PB), knocking nearly 5 seconds off his backstroke time. Well done Flynn!

Emily had her hair cut and donated it to The Princess Trust , and she also wrote them a wonderful letter. Well done Emily.
Jack has been so inspired by STEM club that he made this pinball machine at home. It is amazing! 😊
