St Mary’s 2024 STEM Competition - Race Car Challenge
Monday 24th June (reserve day Tuesday 25th June)
Rules:
Winner - the car that travels the furthest wins!
Medals for the top 3 places in each Key Stage.
Certificate for best design or themed car (suitable for school).
The car needs to be self-propelled (e.g. elastic band, balloon powered, slingshot etc).
No electric or motorised vehicles are allowed.
Cars to be no bigger than an A4 piece of paper.
The car must travel along the ground - no flying cars!
Cars can be made out of: card, paper, wood, stationary (like paper clips etc), Lego, K’nex, craft materials and any other ordinary household materials.
STEM club is organised by Mr Green.
The club is held on Thursday after school and is for Year 3 - 6 pupils.
STEM club will return in the Autumn term.
