Fundraising

We are currently raising funds for Young Lives Vs Cancer. This charity does amazing work for children, and the families of children living with cancer, be it financial support providing grants and unlocking crucial financial support, day to day support: social workers helping with the everyday challenges cancer brings, and a free place to stay around the corner from hospital, their homes from home keep families together during treatment.

 

Cancer has recently affected a family of St Mary's Primary School and we would love to donate back to this charity who have been supporting our family.

 

Raffle and Sponsored Colour Run

During the afternoon of Wednesday 27th March 2024, we had a sponsored colour run, parents to came in to watch the children being covered in powder paint as they ran around the school track. The funds raised for this were shared between Young Lives vs Cancer and our PFA. We also be ran a raffle, drawn during the afternoon of the colour run, where all proceeds going to Young Lives vs Cancer charity.

 

 

 

London Marathon April 2024

Mrs Dunstan, our Headteacher, ran the London Marathon in April to help raise even more funds for this amazing charity. Raising just under £6,000!

Race Across Scotland - Sensory Garden

In August, Mr Trudgeon one of the teachers at St Mary's School, is taking on this incredible race & taking ZP4 on tour . Please read via link below:

In doing so, he is aiming to raise money for a sensory garden at St Mary's for the children to enjoy and will be a lovely place to sit in memory of one of St Mary's former pupils Zach Peek. Please donate if you can.
