We are a school based nursery currently offering childcare for ages two to four year olds. We are hoping to add a baby room to our new building, due for completion August 2026.
Job Summary:
You will be required to support the nursery manager with the administration side of the Nursery. This includes answering the phone, greeting parents, and liaising with the Local Authority to ensure all processes for claiming government funding are completed. Ideally, you will have previous experience of being in a similar role within nurseries or schools.
People skills are essential, together with good admin skills, telephone manner, and organisational skills.

Little Oaks Nursery
Early Years Practitioner (permanent contract)
25.5 hours (3 days) per week – All year round
Salary: Grade 15 Point 4 (£13.05 per hour)

We are looking to recruit an Early Years Practitioner, Level 3, for 3 days per week between the hours of 8:00am – 5:30pm.
Key skills and duties:
Most importantly, to have energy, enthusiasm, empathy, a sense of adventure and fun!
• Help with the planning and delivery of creative and fun opportunities according to children’s needs and interests to fulfil the requirements of the EYFS.
• Develop good strong relationships and communication with children parents/carers.
• Work creatively with children so they develop, learn and grow.
• Ensure all children have equal access to opportunities to learn and develop.
• Experience of working with children in an early learning environment
• Good communication skills
• Be a team player

Job Summary:
As the Deputy Nursery Manager, you will work closely with the Nursery Manager to oversee the day-to-day activities and provide exemplary care to our children. Your responsibilities will include:
• Ensuring every individual child’s needs are met, including supporting parents with any SEND needs.
• Establishing strong relationships with parents and guardians, ensuring effective communication.
• Support, supervise and train nursery staff to ensure delivery of high-quality childcare practice and develop open and positive working relationships with colleagues.
• Ensure we encourage and praise children’s development and achievements.
• Assisting in maintaining regulatory compliance and ensuring the highest standards of health and safety
