Team Thunder who came 11th in the National Dodgeball finals ( first in the south-west)

Rounders County Finals 2025

Congratulations to our St Mary’s rounders team, who played in the Somerset County Finals this afternoon.

After qualifying without losing a match in the Sedgemoor qualifying round, the team were aiming to defend their title from last year.

They fought hard in their matches in the heat this afternoon, playing against Cannington, Hamp, Thurlbear and Eastover. We progressed to the final, playing against the Taunton team, Trull.

The team put in a great performance and won the match 26-18, retaining the title for St Mary’s of being the Somerset County Rounders Champions!
