Bella Dodden – Summer 2025
Bella had an amazing opportunity over the summer holidays, where she danced on a cruise ship!
Over 60 Fox King Dance Academy took their passion to the high seas this holiday season, performing four incredible dance shows aboard the MSC Virtuosa while sailing through the stunning Norwegian fjords! ✨✨✨✨✨
With an audience of over 6,500 guests, these young stars lit up the stage and brought energy, elegance, and excitement to the ship!
At just 6, Bella was the youngest dancer to perform all 4 dances on the ship.
Wow, well done Bella.
Maths Challenge 2025
Congratulations to our Wellington Maths Challenge team: Sam, Sophie, Emmett and Josh! Not only have they given up time after school over the past few weeks for extra maths practise, they’ve given up their Saturday morning to represent St Mary’s too.
Out of 60 schools across the south west, St Mary’s narrowly missed the podium, scoring 20/25 and finishing in 4th place! To put the level of challenge into perspective, the organisers this morning said that no team in the 15 years they have been running the challenge has ever scored 25/25.
Thank you to the parents and carers who supported the team at home and made the journey this morning, making this opportunity and outcome possible
