Year 2 really enjoyed their second week of Forest school. We explored the outdoors by looking at different shaped leaves, going on a bear hunt and making bug hotels.

Year 2 had a great morning at a multi-skills sports morning at Haygrove, we tried lots of new sport skills like skipping, hurdles and football control. We can't wait to try some of these skills out at school!

Year 2's third week of Forest school was all about 'stick man' we watched the story of stick man and thought about his journey he made. We made our own real life stick men and then we created our own stick man stories.

Class 3 have spent the afternoon learning facts about arctic animals. They worked in group to create their own information posters.

Week 4 of Forest school consisted of using saws to cut discs of wood to make minibeasts.

It was a joy to have the opportunity to watch the singing children of Africa perform for us on Thursday afternoon.
