Facilities
School Library
The School Library is situated at the front of school by the office. We have a wide range of books for all ages and members of Year 6 are voted as librarians each term who then oversee the organisation and use of the spaces. Classes have access to the library throughout the school day, and it is available for all children to visit with a grown-up after school on a Tuesday and Thursday between 3:15-3:45pm if they would like to borrow a book. Each class also has a mini-library which is updated periodically.
Here are this terms Year 6 Librarians.

Reading Lodge
We also have a reading lodge next to the KS2 playground which children have access to during break and lunch times. Classes are also able to access the lodge on a rota basis during the school day.
The Reading Lodge was funded by the PFA and with support from the local community. The lodge is heated and fitted with coloured lights in order to provide a warm welcoming space to access reading materials all year round.

Running Track and field
We have a 402.3 metre running track which runs around the perimeter of the school field which the children use throughout the day. All children are encouraged to walk or run at least 1 lap of the track per day. The running track is also incorporated into our annual Sports Day in the summer.
We have lots of lovely green space for the children to access and facilitate the various sports on offer at St Mary's.
